We truly appreciate every supporter who sends gifts during our TikTok live streams. Your kindness means a lot to the families we serve. However, it is important for our community to understand how TikTok gifting works.
When someone sends a gift using TikTok coins, the platform keeps a large percentage of the value as service fees and commissions. In most cases, only about 25% of the actual value reaches the host, while the remaining amount is deducted by TikTok and app store processing fees. This means that nearly 50%–75% of your donation does not reach the families in need.
For example, if someone sends $10 worth of TikTok coins, the organization may only receive approximately $2.50 to $3,00 after all deductions.
